According to CoinMeta, as reported by Dongwang, Hong Kong law enforcement authorities recorded a total of 25 cases of investment fraud related to online dating between July 24th and 30th, with a total loss amount approaching 70 million Hong Kong dollars. One insurance professional in their fifties was deceived by their online dating partner into investing in virtual currencies, resulting in a loss of over 26 million Hong Kong dollars.
