According to CoinMeta, the former chairman Chris Giancarlo warned that the legislative process for the digital asset market CLARITY Act is facing challenges. Although crypto advocates continue to push for the bill, Giancarlo pointed out that the industry should not view legislation as a black-and-white situation. He emphasized that blockchain innovation will continue regardless of the fate of the bill. The Senate's agenda does not mention CLARITY Act, and instead, voting is limited to the spending bill H.R 6500. As the recess on August 10th approaches, Senate leaders are under pressure to identify legislative tools, submit procedural motions, or reach a bipartisan agreement to make progress with CLARITY Act before the recess.
