Gold Price Forecast: The $4,100 Support Level May Determine the Next Trend
2026-08-03 17:06:17
According to CoinMeta, after failing to maintain its upward trend towards 4,146 for the new week, gold futures are currently showing a slightly bearish outlook, having fallen back to around 4,110. This level is below the intraday VWAP and is close to the important support range of 4,102-4,111. Sellers hold a short-term advantage below 4,128, but as long as the 4,100 support level holds, buyers still have a chance. In December, gold futures opened near 4,135 for the new week and initially climbed towards 4,146, but buyers were unable to establish a higher price level in that area. Subsequently, prices fell back to 4,103, and buyers attempted to recover their losses, but their efforts were repeatedly thwarted in the 4,124-4,127 range. This region contains several short-term resistance levels, and gold has also fallen back to around the intraday VWAP, indicating that sellers have greater control in current trading. The short-term trading structure supports this cautious bearish view.
