According to CoinMeta, the mortgage and refinancing rates started off mixed on August 3, 2026. Based on the data from the loan market (referenced by Zillow), the current 30-year fixed mortgage rate is 6.65%, which is 8 basis points higher than the current refinancing rate. The 15-year fixed mortgage rate is 6.01%, which is on par with the 15-year refinancing rate. The 5/1 ARM mortgage rate is also 6.65%, which is 3 basis points lower than the 5/1 refinancing rate.
