According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Fortune, software-driven mining startup Mariana Minerals has completed a $310 million Series B financing round, led by Khosla Ventures. Other investors include Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Breakthrough Energy Ventures, BHP Ventures, and Mitsubishi Corporation. Mariana Minerals has now raised a total of $400 million, with a valuation of $1.5 billion. The company was co-founded in 2024 by Turner Caldwell and is headquartered in San Francisco, with operations located in Copper One in Utah and Lithium One in Texas.
