According to CoinMeta, Matt Prusak, an executive from a U.S. Bitcoin company supported by Trump ( ABTC ), announced that he will resign from the company on August 4th to join AI and energy infrastructure developer Giga Energy to take on the roles of Chief Business Officer and Interim Chief Financial Officer. Prusak stated that after years of building the Bitcoin business, he will now turn to the power infrastructure that currently restricts Bitcoin mining and AI computing. This move reflects that Bitcoin miners are repositioning themselves around AI and power infrastructure; as mining becomes increasingly commoditized, more and more miners are turning to artificial intelligence infrastructure to meet the growing computational demands. Giga Energy is a power equipment and AI data center infrastructure developer based in Houston that has delivered over 6.5 gigawatts of power infrastructure and is developing more than 500 megawatts of AI ready data center capacity.
