According to CoinMeta, today's U.S. stock market performed strongly, with the S&P 500 index approaching record highs, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average seeing a significant rise due to falling oil prices. On Monday, as declining oil prices alleviated inflation concerns and pushed down Treasury yields, the S&P 500 rose by 1%, and the Dow Jones increased by 711 points, or 1.4%. The Nasdaq Composite Index also rose by 1.2%. Brent crude oil prices fell by 5.4% to $83.17 per barrel, as President Trump postponed additional strikes against Iran, easing concerns about crude oil transportation in the Persian Gulf. John Williams, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, stated that if energy prices and tariffs peak, inflation should gradually ease.
