According to CoinMeta, Blackstone Group has submitted an application to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) plans to issue tokenized fund shares on the blockchain, marking the world's largest asset management company's further deep involvement in blockchain finance. The application relates to a new product called Blackstone Daily Reinvestment Stablecoin Reserve Tool, which is intended to serve as a reserve support for regulated stablecoins. The fund, launched on the blockchain, is designed to meet the qualifications of assets under the Genius Act, indicating that Blackstone views tokenization as an infrastructure worth building rather than a speculative side project. Blackstone currently manages approximately $15 trillion in assets, and this move has attracted widespread attention.
