Peter Brandt: The Bitcoin bull market is "not urgent"

According to CoinMeta, renowned trader Peter Brandt stated that he has not seen any strong technical evidence indicating that Bitcoin is entering a new bull market, and believes that the current bull market is "not urgent." He shared a weekly Bitcoin analysis by Northstar Charts on social media, pointing out that Bitcoin is still below key technical resistance levels and had previously broken below the 50-week moving average as well as the Ichimoku cloud earlier this year. Brandt believes that the previous Bitcoin bull markets only resumed after prices regained these two indicators, and any sustainable rebound must first break through the cloud. Although the current price trend does not indicate an impending bull market reversal, he warns that the market has not yet hit bottom and expects it is unlikely to see a lasting low point before October 2026. Meanwhile, analyst Maartunn reported that another 500 Bitcoins were transferred after more than 10 years, and 746 Bitcoins were transferred within 3 to 5 years; such long-term inactive coins usually attract the attention of traders. Despite the cautious technical outlook, some market participants remain optimistic.
