According to CoinMeta, Rosen will conduct Japan's first practical experiment on POS cashier stablecoin payments at two stores in Tokyo on August 6 and August 17. The experiment will use three types of stablecoins: JPYC, USDC, and USDT. Payments will be made through Hashport Wallet and MetaMask wallets, with settlement handled by the Paytree multi-code payment gateway provided by Canal Payment Service. No special payment terminals are required.
