Solana Increases the upper limit of block calculation units to 100 million, but congestion bottlenecks for popular accounts still exist

According to CoinMeta, on July 29th, Solana increased the upper limit of block computation units from 60 million to 100 million, representing a 66.7% increase. This adjustment reduced the block occupancy rate for a single popular account from 20% to 12%, but the upper limit for the amount of cu that can be written to each block by the same account remains at 12 million, and the upper limit for account data increment is still 100MB. Therefore, the congestion bottleneck for popular accounts has not been fundamentally resolved. If a large number of transactions need to be written to the same popular account, they are still limited by this quota. The official has not provided actual comparative data on transaction confirmation rates, fees, block propagation, or replay before and after the upgrade.
