Solana increases the maximum single-block computation limit to 100 million cu through simd-0286
2026-08-04 14:21:57
According to CoinMeta, on July 29th, Solana increased the maximum number of transactions per block from 60 million to 100 million cu through simd-0286, thereby enhancing the parallel processing capacity for transactions that are not related to each other. However, the limit of 12 million cu per block for a single writable account remains unchanged. Therefore, when a large number of transactions concentrate on accessing the same account, congestion may still occur. Thus, the expansion does not necessarily mean that the actual throughput will increase by 66% simultaneously.
