According to CoinMeta, former U.S. Congressman George Santos ( George Santos ) will pay $35,069.98 and accept a three-year trading ban in order to resolve the investigation by CFTC into his manipulation of the Kalshi market related to his attendance at his own State of the Union address. The final order revealed that he initially profited from "yes" contracts, then switched to "no" contracts, while continuing to tell the public that he planned to attend.
