Fireblocks Survey Shows European and British Institutions Actively Laying Out for Crypto Assets

According to CoinMeta, as reported by bitcoin.com, Fireblocks released a 2026 "Financial Grid" survey report which indicates that 99% of European institutions and 100% of British institutions expect regulatory policies to support the development of digital assets. Influenced by the MiCA framework, 53% of European institutions have already made funding commitments, while in the UK this proportion is 36%; additionally, 59% of British institutions plan to complete their budget allocations within 2026. European institutions are leading in the fields of tokenized money market funds and tokenized securities. In the UK, 50% of institutions plan to issue their own stablecoins, which is higher than the 40% in Europe. Both markets consider 24/7 settlement and real-time payments as their top use cases.
