Michael Saylor: The support rate of BIP-110 in the current Bitcoin mining difficulty cycle is only 2.7%
2026-08-04 23:01:14
According to CoinMeta, Michael Saylor, the founder of Strategy, stated that during the current Bitcoin mining difficulty adjustment cycle, up to block 961,022, only 38 blocks (accounting for 2.70%) have set the BIP-110 support flag in the block header version field, falling short of the required 55% threshold. Starting from block 961,632, BIP-110 nodes will reject blocks that do not emit this signal. Unless the major miners reverse their stance, Bitcoin will continue to operate normally; otherwise, it may experience a stagnation or fork. Supporters should cease further efforts in this regard.
