Analyst: Doge Coin Price Hits a Historical Low, and Hope of a Recovery Begins to Wane
2026-08-05 01:06:28
According to CoinMeta, the price of Doge Coin has fallen to a historical low, with the monthly Relative Strength Index (RSI) reaching its lowest level in 13 years. This data has sparked market disagreement, and new recommendations regarding wallet security have also led to broader discussions among Doge Coin holders. A chart shared by analyst Cryptollica indicates that the current market situation is seen as one of the biggest opportunities in Doge Coin's history. Although some traders believe that low RSI levels may indicate a rebound, there is no guarantee that prices will rise. Over the past five years, Doge Coin's performance in August has varied: it rose by 0.79% since 2026 and by 1.90% in 2025. However, Augusts in 2024, 2023, and 2022 ended with losses of 16.9%, 17.9%, and 9.98%, respectively. Despite the recent gains not showing a consistent pattern each year, traders are still closely monitoring whether the latest data signals the beginning of a better period. Meanwhile, a member of the Doge Coin community, Mishaboar, mentioned that smartphone wallets should not replace cold wallets for long-term savings, emphasizing the importance of wallet security.
