Elon Musk's SpaceX ( SPCX ) financial report exceeded expectations, Bitcoin holding value decreased by $540 million

According to CoinMeta, Musk's space technology company SpaceX ( SPCX ) released its first quarterly financial report as a publicly traded company on Tuesday. The company reported revenue of $7.8 billion in the second quarter, exceeding Wall Street's forecast of $6.9 billion, and also managed to reduce its quarterly loss to $541 million, showing an acceleration in growth. The net loss reported by the company was $541 million, which is an improvement from $1 billion in the same period last year. After adjustments, EBITDA nearly reached $3.5 billion. Crypto investors are also paying attention to changes in SpaceX's holdings of Bitcoin ( BTC ). The company reported holding $1.1 billion in digital assets as of the end of the second quarter, which is a decrease from $1.64 billion at the end of 2025. SpaceX's IPO documents revealed that as of March 31, the company held 18,712 Bitcoins, with a purchase cost of about $661 million, and a valuation of $1.29 billion at that time. The financial report on Tuesday only disclosed the value of digital assets and did not reveal the number of Bitcoins held or explain the reason for the decrease. After the release of the financial report, SPCX's stock price fell by 6%, while the Nasdaq 100 index rose by 3.3%.
