According to CoinMeta, and as reported by the Financial Times, since the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that Trump's use of emergency powers to impose additional tariffs on trade partners was invalid, the Trump administration has paid back approximately $100 billion in tariff refunds. On Tuesday, U.S. Customs officials reported to judges at the U.S. International Trade Court that this amount constitutes 60% of the total $165 billion collected from the tariffs imposed during the "Liberation Day" period.
