According to CoinMeta, AMD released its financial report for the second quarter of 2026, with data center business revenue reaching $6.72 billion and total revenue at $11.54 billion, which exceeded market expectations of $11.28 billion. The adjusted earnings per share were $1.66, surpassing the expected $1.62. AMD expects revenue in the third quarter to be around $13 billion, with a fluctuation of $300 million, higher than the anticipated $12.52 billion. CEO stated that the second-generation Helios AI servers have been fully put into production, with shipments expected in the coming months. AMD will deliver the relevant AI servers to Meta and OpenAI by the end of this quarter. AMD's gaming business revenue decreased by 31% to $779 million in the second quarter. Following the release of the financial report, AMD's stock price fell by more than 9% after the market closed.
