According to CoinMeta, the blockchain game development studio Proof, which is invested in by a16z, has announced the cessation of its operations. The studio has also decided to open-source its Pirate Nation game code, smart contracts, art assets IP, as well as its internal AI development tools, allowing them to be used by developers under the CC0 protocol authorization.
