According to CoinMeta, Cloudflare launched the first phase of its programmable wallet on August 4th, allowing customers to apply for unique wallet addresses for future stablecoins. Users can reserve wallet addresses associated with their Cloudflare accounts through cloudflare.pay. Although the company stated that the functions of recharging funds and using the wallet to purchase API, data, and online content will be available “soon,” no specific launch date has been provided yet. Cloudflare plans to offer two types of wallets: account wallets, which will be controlled by individual or organizational customers, who can add funds, withdraw balances, and delegate spending permissions to wallets operated by their AI agents; and service wallets. Cloudflare also mentioned that the wallet will support stablecoin storage, service purchases, and receiving funds across networks. The company has not yet disclosed the first batch of countries or regions it will support, nor has it specified which stablecoins or blockchains the wallet will be compatible with.
