According to CoinMeta, Börst uttgart Digital and the institutional crypto trading firm Tradias announced the completion of a merger to create a digital assets business with approximately 300 employees. The merger was announced on Wednesday after obtaining regulatory approval. The combined company will operate under the name of Börst uttgart Digital, while Tradias will continue to exist as a dedicated brand for trading services. The merged business will serve banks, brokers, and other financial institutions, with operations managed from Frankfurt and Stuttgart, and support teams located in Athens, Beirut, Berlin, Dubai, Madrid, Milan, and Ljubljana. Christopher Beck, the founder of Tradias, and Uli Spankovski, the Managing Director of Börst uttgart Digital, have been appointed as co-CEOs of the merged business. Following the merger, Börst uttgart Digital and Tradias will combine their regulated trading infrastructure with custody and digital asset services that are already used by multiple European financial institutions.
