According to CoinMeta, as reported by Cointelegraph, Western Union and Rain have collaborated to launch the Visa card that supports USDPT stablecoins. This card has already been launched in 37 markets and is planned to be expanded to over 60 markets by the end of the year. USDPT is issued on the Solana blockchain by Anchorage Digital Bank. Users can deposit Western Union remittances into their USDPT wallets, transfer them to compatible cryptocurrency wallets or exchanges, and use them for consumption at merchants worldwide. This product is aimed at remittance recipients and consumers in countries with volatile currencies, supporting the savings of digital assets denominated in US dollars for daily consumption.
