According to CoinMeta, in the latest U.S. congressional primaries, the largest campaign fund in the crypto industry encountered a rare setback. The incumbent representative Shri Thanedar was defeated by progressive challenger Donavan McKinney, resulting in the loss of a ally in the House of Representatives who supported the crypto industry. The political action committee of Fairshake spent over 2 million dollars on this effort. Nevertheless, the committee achieved victories in five other primaries, supporting several incumbent members. Fairshake has been working to build and maintain a team of crypto supporters in Congress and is expected to continue to gain new members in the upcoming elections.
