Japanese stablecoin JPYC raises $38 million in funding, AZ - COM Maruwa supports expansion

According to CoinMeta, JPYC announced that it has raised a total of 6 billion yen (approximately 38 million US dollars) through a Series B financing round to support the expansion of its payment network and Web3 financial services. This financing includes a new investment of 1 billion yen (about 6.3 million US dollars) from AZ, a Tokyo-listed logistics company. JPYC plans to use this funds to accelerate the adoption of its regulated yen-backed stablecoins and to expand its financial and Web3 ecosystem. Since its launch as Japan's first registered stablecoin last October, JPYC has been making continuous progress in commercial payment pilots.
