Jpyc Completes $380 Million Series B Financing to Drive the Expansion of Yen-Stablecoins

According to CoinMeta, Jpyc Inc successfully raised 600 million yen (approximately 38 million US dollars) in its Series B financing to accelerate the expansion of its yen-pegged stablecoins. This investment brings the company's total funding since November 2021 to 106 million US dollars, covering seven rounds of financing. New investors include Japan's large logistics company AZ-COM Maruwa (9090), which plans to use Jpyc for payments with customers, including Amazon Japan. This financing marks the first time that Japanese companies have used stablecoins on a large scale for daily business operations. Jpyc is one of the most well-known yen-pegged stablecoins, with a market value of about 55.5 million US dollars.
