According to CoinMeta, Alphabet ( GOOG.O ) has begun promoting a U.S. investment-grade bond issuance plan aimed at testing investors' interest in its debt financing. This move comes as the company raised its capital expenditure expectations for 2026, which led to a sell-off of bonds related to AI. Sources familiar with the matter revealed that Alphabet plans to issue up to 10 tranches of bonds with maturities ranging from 2 to 40 years. The preliminary issue price guidance for the longest-term bonds is about 1.55 percentage points higher than the yield on government bonds.
