According to CoinMeta, Alibaba Cloud has opened public testing for a new generation of video model Wan3.0. The duration of a single generated video has doubled from 15 seconds of the previous model Wan2.7 to 30 seconds, matching the duration of the Seedance model. In addition to text, images, audio, and video, Wan3.0 can also directly process documents in formats such as Word, Excel, PPT, PDF, and Markdown to create product demonstrations, teaching materials, dynamic charts, and business reports. The model supports intelligent selection of video duration and extension of video length, and allows for modification of visuals, plot, and dialogue according to instructions. While the model has improved consistency in characters, props, sound, spatial relationships, and artistic style, there is still room for improvement in sound quality and accuracy of on-screen text. Wan3.0 is already available on Alibaba Cloud's BaiLian, WanJingYike, WanXiang official websites, and the QianWen PC platform, with the QianWen APP version being in grayscale mode. API will be fully available soon, with pricing of 0.3 yuan, 0.6 yuan, and 1.2 yuan per second for 480p, 720p, and 1080p videos respectively; generating a 30-second 1080p video will cost 36 yuan.
