According to CoinMeta, Wells Fargo will launch a tokenized deposit service for corporate customers this fall, initially supporting the US dollar to British pound conversion channel, with plans to expand the scope in 2027. The service supports 24/7 settlement and programmable payments, and deposits retain the attributes of bank liabilities, regulatory protection, and deposit insurance eligibility. Co-founder confirmed that this blockchain is based on Cosmos technology.
