According to CoinMeta, based on Nasdaq's financial report for the first quarter of 2026 and the 8-K filing submitted to SEC, Nasdaq's 23-hour trading system (23/5) has been approved by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and will officially go live on December 6, 2026. At that time, the U.S. stock market will only be closed for 1 hour per day (from 20:00 to 21:00 Eastern Time) for system settlement and data processing.
