According to CoinMeta, a supporter of BIP-110 stated that the mandatory signal transmission of BIP-110 will begin in about 290 blocks (approximately 48 hours). Miners need to start transmitting signals to confirm their readiness for BIP-110; otherwise, the blocks will be deemed invalid and discarded. Dathon Ohm recommends that miners and users upgrade to Bitcoin Knots nodes and does not advise continuing to run Bitcoin Core.
