According to CoinMeta, Bitcoin reached $64,300 before the U.S. employment report, and the rebound in oil prices became a barrier. SK Hynix announced that it will invest 54 trillion Korean won (about $38 billion) to expand its chip manufacturing facilities in South Korea, planning to build new factories in Yongin and Cheongju to meet the growing demand for memory in the AI era. This expenditure is one of the largest single commitments by the memory manufacturer to date, and its stock has fluctuated sharply this year during AI trading, triggering a sharp sell-off in the KOSPI index and setting a record for U.S. listings. For the crypto market, this is seen as another sign that AI infrastructure spending continues to grow.
