According to CoinMeta, Wu said that Bridge Building S.A., the Luxembourg entity of Bridge, a stablecoin infrastructure company under Stripe, has been added to ESMA's latest registry of electronic currency token (EMT) issuers. Previously, Bridge had obtained authorization as a crypto asset service provider (CASP) and a license as an electronic money institution (EMI) from the Luxembourg Financial Services Commission (CSSF), allowing it to operate within the European Union.
