According to CoinMeta, in the 4th episode of Gatecast, Min Lin, the General Manager of Global Business Development at Ondo Finance, served as a guest and shared insights on breakthroughs in the RWA sector and new opportunities for tokenized assets. He stated that traditional finance is accelerating its adoption of blockchain, with many top global financial institutions already beginning to actively explore pathways for assets to be listed on the blockchain. He believes that the core changes are not only the digitization of asset forms but also the shared ledger, instant settlement, and higher transparency brought about by blockchain. These capabilities have the potential to enhance the efficiency of global financial markets and drive the financial system towards greater openness and inclusivity. Min Lin also introduced OUSG aimed at institutional users and USDY aimed at a broader range of users, emphasizing that the product design is intended to deliver on-chain benefits to users in a more transparent manner. He believes that tokenized stocks and ETF hold great potential; the US stock market alone is valued at approximately 69 trillion dollars. By connecting these with the deep liquidity of TradFi through instant issuance and redemption models, there is hope to further expand the global accessibility of tokenized assets.
