According to CoinMeta, the former Bitcoin mining company Firmus announced a successful financing of $2 billion, with a valuation exceeding $10.5 billion. The company plans to expand its AI factory projects in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. This financing has received full investment commitments from existing investors Coatue and NVIDIA, with Blackstone Tactical Opportunities Fund and other Blackstone investment vehicles also participating. Firmus stated that this round of financing will accelerate the advancement of their Nanmen project and support their AI project in Indonesia. The company also plans to build AI infrastructure based on NVIDIA's DSX AI factory reference architecture.
