According to CoinMeta, and as reported by TASS, there has been a clear increase in demand for hardware cryptocurrency wallets in Russia. Russian electronics retailer m video stated that in the second quarter of 2026, sales of hardware wallets increased by 107% compared to the first quarter, with sales revenue growing by 92%. In the first half of the year, sales of hardware wallets increased by 84% year-on-year, and sales revenue grew by 60%. Currently, the average selling price of such devices is around 7,900 rubles, which is a 13% decrease from the same period last year. Consumers mainly purchase products that support NFC and backup cards. Earlier this month, Russian President Putin signed laws related to cryptocurrencies, recognizing digital currencies as property and regulating their circulation.
