According to CoinMeta, data released by the National Bureau of Statistics shows that in July, the CPI nationwide decreased by 0.1% on a month-on-month basis, with the decline narrowing by 0.2 percentage points compared to the previous month. Fluctuations in international market prices led to a 10.7% decrease in domestic gasoline prices, which was a 5.8 percentage point increase from the previous month's decline, affecting the CPI to drop by about 0.35 percentage points on a month-on-month basis. Artificial intelligence has driven the iteration and upgrading of consumer electronics products, resulting in increased demand and rising prices for related products. The prices of tablets, computers, and mobile phones increased by 11.3%, 5.5%, and 1.0% respectively, collectively contributing to a 0.03 percentage point increase in the CPI on a month-on-month basis. In addition, the increased demand for travel during the summer season led to rises in the costs of travel agencies, hotel accommodations, airplane tickets, and vehicle rentals by 7.2%, 6.5%, 4.2%, and 3.6% respectively, which together caused the CPI to rise by about 0.10 percentage points on a month-on-month basis.
