According to CoinMeta, data released by the National Bureau of Statistics shows that in July, CPI nationwide increased by 0.5% year-on-year, maintaining a moderate upward trend. Among them, the price of gold jewelry rose by 24.6%. The year-on-year increase in CPI fell by 0.5 percentage points compared to the previous month, mainly due to the decline in gasoline prices. Gasoline prices rose by 1.0%, with the increase falling by 16.0 percentage points from the previous month, resulting in a reduction of about 0.45 percentage points in its impact on driving up CPI. This led to a decline in energy price increases to 0.6%. Excluding energy, the prices of industrial consumer goods rose by 1.5%, with the increase falling by 0.2 percentage points from the previous month, affecting the year-on-year increase in CPI by about 0.37 percentage points.
