According to CoinMeta, the police in Hengli, Dongguan, intercepted a virtual currency investment and financial fraud scheme. Five minutes before Ms. Li, the victim, conducted an offline transaction with the fraudsters, they successfully prevented the transfer of 1.1 million yuan in cash. The fraudsters used internal virtual currency investment channels as a lure to induce Ms. Li to withdraw 1.1 million yuan in cash for offline exchange. After detecting the risk, the Dongguan police activated an early warning and interception mechanism to stop the fund transfer before the transaction took place.
