According to CoinMeta, on August 9th local time, Shvyayev, the acting governor of Belgorod Oblast in Russia, posted on social media that the capital of the oblast was subjected to a large-scale drone attack by Ukraine, resulting in 13 people being injured. The drone explosions also caused two cars to catch fire, and multiple buildings and facilities were damaged during the attack. According to a report from the Russian Ministry of Defense on the morning of the 9th, over the past night, 153 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones were intercepted and destroyed over 18 locations as well as in the waters of the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea.
