According to CoinMeta, the Federal Reserve has just released its inflation forecasts for August, which may create uncertainty for the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) at its September meeting. Using the tools provided by CoinMeta, the likelihood of a 25-basis-point interest rate hike is close to 55%, while the possibility of keeping rates unchanged is about 45%. The FOMC's September meeting is scheduled for September 15th to 16th, during which time it will receive inflation data for July and August.
