Australian regulator suspends Cryptolink's operating qualifications for three months

According to CoinMeta, as reported by Cointelegraph, the Australian anti-money laundering regulator AUSTRAC has suspended the virtual asset service provider registration of cryptocurrency ATM operator Cryptolink for three months on the grounds of continuous violations. As a result, Cryptolink's 96 Bitcoin ATM platforms will cease operations from today onwards. AUSTRAC stated that Cryptolink failed to fulfill its basic reporting obligations and refused to respond to information requests. Cryptolink signed a mandatory commitment letter with AUSTRAC in October 2025 and paid a fine of $56,340. Cryptolink's ATM platforms are mainly located in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.
