According to CoinMeta, Intel announced that it will sell $15 billion in common stock through a secondary offering, diluting existing shareholders (including the U.S. government). Underwriters also have an additional option of $2.25 billion. Intel's closing price on Friday was $101.65, with a market value of about $562 billion, and a 52-week range of $19.61 to $142.35. The stock has risen by about 170% in 2026. The complete agreement for this transaction includes a greenshoe option, with a dilution ratio of approximately 3%. Intel's capital expenditure guidance for 2026 has exceeded $20 billion, and management has made it clear that they will not increase expenditures without customer commitments.
