According to CoinMeta, South Korea's Supreme Court plans to revise the "Civil Enforcement Rules" to allow courts to require exchanges to disclose the encrypted assets held by debtors within 7 days of receiving a command, and to freeze, transfer, or liquidate such assets for the enforcement of civil debts. The comment period for these rules ends on August 11. If implemented as planned, they are expected to take effect on October 1. However, assets for which individuals keep their private keys themselves will still be more difficult to enforce directly.
