BTCPay Offers a $190,000 Reward to Recover Stolen Bitcoins

According to CoinMeta, the BTCPay server announced a reward of $190,000 to recover the bitcoins stolen last week. The project stated that the reward would be paid at 10% of the amount recovered, with a maximum of 3 BTC, which is currently worth about $190,000. The project welcomes anyone who can provide useful information, including the attacker himself/herself, to contact them via their secure email. BTCPay also mentioned that if the funds are recovered through multiple reports, the reward will be distributed based on each victim's loss and the validity of the information provided. In addition, BTCPay also donated 0.21 BTC to the researchers who discovered the vulnerability.
