According to CoinMeta, Coinbase has launched derivative trading services to professional investors in the UK, covering perpetual contracts, regular futures, and crypto options, supporting over 170 underlying assets including cryptocurrencies, commodities, stocks, and foreign exchange. Perpetual contracts support up to 50x leverage, while regular futures support up to 20x leverage, and 24/7 trading is provided. This service is based on the Coinbase's recent acquisition of a MiFID license from the UK.
