The 15-year fixed-rate mortgage rate was 5.97%, down 4 basis points from the previous day. The 5/1 ARM rate was 6.52%, up 15 basis points from Monday. Based on data from the Zillow loan market, it is expected that the 30-year mortgage rate will remain around 6.50% in 2026.
