Cardano price drops by 4.7%, Grayscale withdraws ADA ETF application

According to CoinMeta, the price of Cardano fell by 4.7% on August 11, with trading prices around 0.1885 US dollars, dropping back below 0.20 US dollars again. On August 7, Grayscale retracted its proposed registration statement for the Cardano trust ETF, just two days after the CME Cardano futures completed six months of trading. Although ADA futures began trading on February 9 and met certain listing criteria on August 9, the withdrawal by Grayscale does not equate to a rejection of SEC. In a document dated August 7, SEC, the company stated that the sponsors "do not intend to proceed with the planned share distribution."
