The financial terms of this transaction have not been disclosed, and FortressFire will operate as an independent wholly-owned subsidiary of FM. FM, the chairman and CEO of FM, stated, "Both companies share a core belief in data-driven, location-based risk mitigation to help customers manage wildfire risks." FortressFire's platform is designed to assist insurance companies and property owners in assessing and managing wildfire risks.
