According to CoinMeta, Brazil's largest private bank is participating in a pilot project for tokenized securities and investment funds led by the Brazilian Financial and Capital Markets Association. The project aims to test the issuance, trading, and settlement of capital market instruments using distributed ledger technology. The bank will collaborate with a digital asset infrastructure provider to develop a technical proof of concept and assess the operational, compliance, and technical requirements of tokenized assets. Twenty use cases were selected from 39 proposals for the pilot project, which will be tested on a private, licensed network without involving real financial transactions.
